Artist Call Out: April 2021

“Gathering Me’s” is my first show at the Storefront Theater and you are invited! This show means so much to me. I can not wait to bring you this experience. It’s going to be a great opportunity for you to see what I am about. This show is going to look great and feel like family.

Works should focus on unity, healing and shared experience. Individual works should celebrate and affirm the experience of all black and brown people, especially women. We need a moment of healing and celebration. Women of color have been doing a lot of political and personal heavy lifting. We need artwork that celebrates and affirms the journey we are on. It is about the process of self-actualization and the journey to queen-ship.

A live reception is being planned but socially distant online option will be provided.
