I'm Cierra and CJCRTV is Cierra Johnson Creative. I am a multi-hyphenate creative specializing in art, advocacy and culture work. My practice focuses on creating welcoming spaces for the underserved and unheard. I use graphic design, mixed media illustration and collage to create narratives that reflect the communities that I am a part of and inspired by.
My work is a way to imagine yourself differently and engage new perspectives; art allows people to see themselves in a new light. It examines how we define ourselves, how we relate to each other individually and how we interact with our environment. Ultimately, my art is a method of manifestation, a pathway to personal revolution and institutional change. Ideally, it leads the audience to act with a growing sense of community and compassion.
